Are you interested in becoming a California Notary? Or are you needing to renew your commission? If so you will need to take a California Notary State Exam near you. All California notary State exams are administered by CPS Hr, (note we do NOT have any control over the exam dates as they are set by the Secretary of States office in conjunction with CPS Hr) below you can find a list of exam dates in your area.
Before you are eligible to take the state-administered exam a candidate must have passed a 3 or 6-hour course of study. If you have yet to complete this step please sign up for one of our online course below and be sure to bring your proof of completion certificate with you.
(Required for new notaries or notaries who’s license has expired or will expire before they take the state exam.)
